Downtown Bars Becoming A Suburban Rush Street
The City Council reaps a lot of money from the increasingly riotous downtown scene. These are known as SECA funds. The appearance is that they are reluctant to take the steps necessary to curb the violence in favor of keeping the tax money flowing in.
Abuse of Police power.
In an apparent violation of the 4th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution - and Naperville's own Municpal Code - private property was invaded by City employees with Police Department escorts.
Someone should tell the City Manager that the Constitution's rights are granted to citizens, not cities.
